Aaargh!!! Desktop Woes AGAIN!!!

I fired it up, NT wouldn't boot...just kept running through the boot loader, then a black screen. After a bit, it would recycle.

Network Woes
Took PB to work, where several folks have HDI30-C50 Adaptors similar to my HDI30-DB25 on their desks for hooking PB5300cs to their desktop Quadras. Upon powering up P575, arrows turn black/white striped, coming on several times during startup (as I'd observed at work) and LED on Adaptor is now ON.

Desktop Woes
Actually, the V3 would let me play for about 5 minutes, then dump me back to the desktop. I could play most of the time with the "Primary Display" driver Now, instead of getting the little "ERROR" box when I load EQ, I get past the patch server and it goes to a black screen (in 640x480) and shows and hourglass.

XP woes...lost desktop, then can't repair

When I try to run any games that use 3D hardware acceleration, the PC stays on the Win98 desktop (the 640*480 frame of the programme might appear but you can see the I downloaded the Surf demo, but when I run it I just get a black screen. I had an old Quake 2 demo, which ran fine when I first installed it.

If there is not an icon on your desktop, you should be able to get to it through the Windows Control Panel, or under Programs/Santa Cruz. Set its output to analog in the Santa Cruz control panel. If that does not work, try number 5 (black), which is the headphone jack. -- barry in indy.
